It seems like you know a lot of things in regards to DTG. So what’s a decent to good quality DTG out there, for a Noob like myself, to get started with? I”m thinking about getting into the Printed T-shirts industry. Maybe start my own brand and/or printing to organizations…what are your thoughts. I also got to T-shirt forums period com to get advice too.

i bought a printer from qingdao UNIQUE. their products are really UNIQUE. if u are interested in them too or u want to develop yr UNIQUE business, u can find this company from google by qingdao unique.
You should know that in order to use dye inks, the Tshirt must be pretreated with something like Bubblejet Set or the ink will all wash out. But dye inks will fade in the sunlight.
Epsons are much better for this because there are inks made for printing on garments without requiring pretreatment.

it’s a lexmark, if think it should work with it too. Can you post a link to u’r yahoo group, i don’t find it. is there some particular precaution for Unsettle the printer?

how does this do with washing though? Need special waterproof ink I would imagine, or your nice shirt would disappear in the wash!

@bbristow how much wld it cost??? How to make such printer?? wld it cost much then?? Normal DTG printer ismore effective i feel ….
